We use TLSv0.0 in mTLS mode. This means clients need to support privately issued certificates (VICA00) and these should be installed in their trusted store alongside their private key (generated when they created the Certificate Signing Request or “CSR”) and the VISA CA root and subroot files. Once installed, clients can start testing against the VCMS environment and troubleshoot themselves. We cannot implement TLS for clients on their systems for them, and looking at this email chain that’s exactly what the client is after – someone to tell them how to set up TLS on their host systems.
